To The Beautiful You (Korean ver.)

I just saw that the up coming drama "To The Beautiful You" has EXO's members like actors (including my favorites ). And that makes me really want to watch it!

I just get to know the drama. I know that it's an adaptation of a Japanese manga series "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e" and that Minho from SHINee and Sulli from f(x) will be the main characters. So does anyone know anything about this new drama? and does anyone already read the manga? if yes, is the story good?

I never read the manga, but I've watched the Taiwanese (Hua Yang Shao Nan Shao Nu) and the Japanese (Hana Kimi) versions already :P The story is pretty good (since I managed to actually finish the drama, not being a drama watcher), it's funny and not overly romantic, the girl being disguised as a guy during most of it.

And yeah, I can't WAIT to see the EXO members in it! In the story, there's dorms with a lot of boys (it's an all-boys school) and some really funny stuff happen. (I think either Kris or Luhan was spotted in one of the teaser-trailers, but I'm not sure which one)

Personally, I prefer the Japanese version, the actress playing the protagonist in the Taiwanese version (Ella...) having too exaggerated expressions for my taste. Nakatsu (my favorite character) was very well played by Ikuta Toma in the Japanese version too ^_^ I can't wait to see if the Korean version of Nakatsu will be as well-done! (AND EXO SERIOUSLY EXO I CAN'T WAIT KRIS LUHAN LAY CHANYEOL EVERYOOOOONEEEEEE why is there no Tao OTL)

I read the manga ^^ It was pretty good. As Tsu said, it's a gender-bender, the girl chased her idol (Sano) half-way through the world to his school, but since it's an all-boys dorm, she had to disguise herself as a guy.

And then there's some drama (Sano has some kind of problem which cause him unable to jump), some comedy ('cause gender-bender is just ASKING for it) and etc.etc.etc.

I watched the first 2-3 episode of the Japanese drama, couldn't finish it ^^; (lazy ass who falls asleep when it's 40mins an episode)

Overall, it's a classic shoujo worthy to watch [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Especially with EXO in it.

XD I know, but when I started it, 'twas still airing and there were like 3 episodes so I watched them and got hooked and I couldn't wait for the next week so I finished the manga instead.

Seriously that homo janai part was too funny and bouhouhou Nakatsu and his freaking out over liking the 'guy' and it was so sad when he confessed T_T

OMG! There is gender-bender in the drama! No way! I will watch it for sure. And thanks for your reviews, it's seems a funny story. I really like comedy.

Yes, the gender-bender thing (and Nakatsu's crush on the girl-he-thought-was-a-guy) is why I watched it in the first place 8D When is the Korean version coming out?

@Sylinxia: Yes it does! It has everyone from EXO except Chen, Xiumin and Tao... Tao's Korean isn't that good so maybe that's why, but why aren't Chen and Xiumin in it?

I was upset that Sulli had to cut her long hair but, it'll grow back right? :)
So out of the 12 exo members only 3 of them won't be in it. So that means 11 amazing smtown k-pop artists will be in it!

So Sulli really cut her hair? Because in some dramas, the actress actually put a wig instead of cutting her hair and that can look really realistic.
I'm still happy even not all the EXO's members are in the drama because it is the first time that I'm able to see a lot of my favorite k-pop artists playing in the same drama! So happy!

OMGOMGOMG OK BEFORE I SAID TAO WASN'T IN THE DRAMA COZ HE WASN'T IN THE PROMOTION PICTURE THING. BUT THE TRUTH IS, HE IS IN THE DRAMA!!!! *must resist urge to squeal* Which means, maybe just maybe, Chen and Xiumin are in it too?

It's possible I am watching the Japanese version and it has a LOT of characters.

And yes, there is three dorms if I remember well so many many characters ouo)b So I hope all twelve EXO members will be in there! I never heard Tao really speak in Korean (nor Lay...) so I wonder what he sounds like ^^
